Dr. Ngoc Huynh

For Dr. Ngoc Huynh, the best part of her job is being able to educate her patients on how to keep themselves, their family members, or their children healthy. “I believe that the majority of people, if they have the knowledge, they can try to get healthy or stay healthy,” she said.

But to do this requires a lot of trust between her and her patients. To help build a strong foundation for patient education, Dr. Huynh actively listens to her patients. “I…listen to their problems and hear where they’re coming from and what they’re doing to themselves.”

For her, the biggest difference UNIBE Care has to offer from other hospitals or clinics is that “We’re flexible. We try to accommodate patients who need care urgently, even if they don’t have an appointment. Our walk-in schedule is really busy.”

Above all else, Doctor Huynh believes that “Healthcare should be a partnership. It’s not all up to the doctors.” She adds that “I think people are ultimately responsible for their own help. No one can help them if they don’t want to help themselves…but if a patient can do their part to take care of their health…” then we can work together for their best interest.
